The Project: Walking Across the World

A journey at human speed

In June 2026, the journey begins.

Starting from North Cape, Norway, I will move south on foot — with the intention of crossing the world at human speed.

Across countries. Across communities.

Not following the fastest route, but curiosity.

No fixed destination. Only a direction.

FIRST CHAPTER

Europe (2026–2027)

This is a long-term journey on foot — walking and running across continents at human speed.

There is no fixed route. The path will evolve along the way, shaped by curiosity, the people I meet, and the stories I find.

Some days will be about movement. Others about staying longer in one place. Listening, understanding, and documenting.

Because this is not just about crossing the world, but about experiencing it.

Map of the the path a man will be walking across Europe from Gibraltar to North Cape, with major stops marked, including Gibraltar and North Cape, on a black background with white and brown lines.

Why this journey

We’re used to seeing a certain version of the world — one made of conflict, division, and distance.

But that’s not the whole story.

When you slow down and meet people face to face, something else appears: small moments, conversations, unexpected kindness.

Destination Humans exists to find and share those moments.

To remind us that beyond borders, cultures, and differences, we are all human.

And that sometimes, the most meaningful destination is each other.
